I am an artist, educator and improviser. I am a mover and a shaker. I work with the many fears, pleasures and mysteries we experience through the human body. My work is deeply rooted in human connection, physical touch and shared emotion. It’s about more than the shape, line and aesthetic. My dancing is about perfect timing, authentic expression and virtuosic surprise. My photography is about risk, positive self-image and playfulness. I embody a personal relationship to gravity, move with idiosyncratic rhythm, entertain the imagination and empathize with my creative partners and audiences alike. I train my body to express, make choices, follow instinct and survive the chaos of performance. It is a rigorous training of mind, body and spirit that makes me the artist I am.
